Our barcode plug-in for Adobe Illustrator will create all common linear and 2D area barcodes.
The plug-in is extremely easy to use, even if you are not a barcode expert.
The plug-in installs itself into the Illustrator tool bar. To create a barcode, select the tool and click on the layer where you want the code. The barcode settings dialog comes up (Screenshot shows Mac version, click for Windows version): 
Simply select the code type, enter your data, select the required size and you are done: 
The created barcode is ordinary Illustrator artwork that can be edited, moved around, exported etc.: 
All common barcode symbologies are supported, see sidebar. The created barcodes can be used directly in Illustrator or can be exported for further use in all Illustrator supported formats (AI, EPS, TIFF etc.). The exported codes are stand-alone artwork and do not require the Plug-In if they are opened or used in other software or on other platforms. The support for all common linear codes and the 2D symbologies PDF 417, Datamatrix, QR Code ("cellphone barcode") makes this plugin the most comprehensive barcode solution for Adobe Illustrator.
