Laetus Codes (Pharma Barcodes)
Very simple binary code to control machines for packaging manufactured by Laetus GmbH of Germany (Website). An identical barcode is put on the leaflet and on the box of a pharmaceutical product to ensure that the right leaflet lands in the correct box. Laetus code is always created without human readable text; there is no check digit. At most six digits can be encoded. The highest encodable value is 131070.Most Laetus codes are created black on white with a single line of bars. Theoretically, colored and multi line codes are permissable too.
